The Russkiy bridge is the cable-stayed bridge with the longest span in the world, built in Vladivostok across the Bosporus Vostochny, connects the Nazimov Peninsula with Cape Novosilsky on the island of Russian. Construction of the bridge began on September 3, 2008 as part of the city’s programme to prepare for the APEC summit in 2012.
